Back to Basics with Boohoo

Lindsey Sleeveless Midi Dress  Boohoo - £12
Gracie Two Part Plated Metallic Heels - Boohoo - £25
Necklace (similar here) - Boohoo - £6
Hair Extensions: Tantrum Hair - Micro Rings

Hey Lovelies

Today we're taking it back to basics with Boohoo! I sometimes forget how fabulous basics are, but never underestimate the power of a simple midi dress. I picked up this grey one from Boohoo last week as I thought it would be a great piece to rock on holiday with sandals and then dress up for a night out with heels and a glam statement necklace. If you've got yourself a basic midi dress then you're pretty much ready to conquer summer!

There's just something about midi dresses which recently I have been hooked on! If you follow my Instagram, you'll have probably noticed haha! The Lindsey Midi (which also comes in nude) is very form fitting which means if you've got curves, then this is the perfect dress for showing them off! In fact when I was looking through the shots for this post, I found a few where I looked like I was channeling my inner Kimmy K haha! The length is also great, as I'm only 5"4 I always find midi's hard to buy as they seem to be too long, meaning I'm forever pulling them up or down. However this Boohoo beauty has a very comfortable length meaning its perfect for even us short girlies! As I mentioned earlier this style is easily transformable and in this post I've shown you just how easy it really is to dress up a basic midi for a night time style.

To add a touch of glamour, I've paired the Lindsey Midi with my new found loves the Gracie Metallic heels. Girls, can we just take a minute to appreciate how super gorge these are!! Adding grey accents like the heels and a statement necklace, really helps dress up the look without making it look too over done. I find this look super chic and you all know how much I love a chic look. The heels are also super comfy and not too high meaning if you fancy taking them out for a spin on the dance floor, you'll be able to go all night long.

Which is your favourite basic piece? Let me know in the comments!
See you in the next post beauts,

Bardot Style

Lace Midi Dress  No 47 La Boutique
Heels - Linzi - £30
Hair Extensions: Tantrum Hair - Micro Rings

Hey Beauts

I've been meaning to share this look with you for absolutely ages, so today I thought I finally would. I came across little online boutique No 47 La Boutique on Facebook and fell in love with their dresses so I thought I'd pick one up to show you. Originally I got it to wear to the races but then ended up wearing something else, however I think I'm going to have to keep it for next year to wear!

I've never owned a bardot style dress before so I was super excited to try this on and see if it suited me, and guess what? It didn't disappoint - I'm obsessed with it! The lace detailing throughout the dress is simply stunning and very demure. I also really like that fact that the slip underneath the dress finishes at a normal bodycon length meaning theres a little bit more leg on show adding a seductive but stylish twist. As you all probably know I love love love nude pink and the colouring of this dress is exactly that. I find that it works really nicely next to my skin tone, especially when I've got a tan! In these photos I'm wearing Bondi Sands Dark tanning foam and have literally being using it every other day to build up my colour now that the weathers a little warmer. Of course no outfit like this complete without a perfect pair of heels, like these gorgeous Linzi ones! I've worn these in a few of my posts now but I literally can't get enough of them - they're super comfy yet stylish! I'm also rocking my Tantrum Hair extensions in my favourite style - loose waves using my GHD Curve (my holy grail hair tool).

I hope you're all enjoying the posts & will see you in my next one!

Its ma birthdayyyyy

A year ago today, beccaofficial.co.uk launched and now looking back on the amazing experiences I've had through blogging, I can officially say that my blog has changed my life! I could only of dreamed of working with some of the most amazing brands who now have made so much of my content possible. I've been to some of the most breathtaking events and even met some of my best friends through something a year ago was just a little hobby of mine. After finishing university 2 weeks ago, I've turned my spare bedroom into an office where all things Becca will be happening from now on as I am fully ready to commence blogging full time and can happily say that this is now my career and wow, what an amazing feeling that is. Of course I couldn't have got where I am now without the support of you, yes you reading this post, you have truly been the best thing that could of happened to me! I'm excited to grow throughout the next year without any distractions and I am determined and motivated to push my blog and life further than I have ever done before! Thank you so much, I wish I had enough cosmos and cupcakes to go round all of you to celebrate haha!

Of course no birthday is fit without the perfect outfit, right? As you all know I love midi dresses and got my hands on this hot pink one from Missguided and honestly it fits like a dream. I absolutely love the colour and thought it would fit in very well as this dress pretty much sums up what beccaofficial.co.uk is all about! This dress is also so great as it comes with a secret bra so it means you don't have to worry about getting a strapless one out! These lace ups are also my very first pair! These Missguided beauties help to add a sophisticated yet daring touch the outfit and are the perfect comfy pair of birthday heels. I absolutely love Missguided for occasion outfits I find that they literally have everything from day to night and are my go to online retailer when it comes to picking something for a night out.

Thank you so much for an amazing year, I can't wait to see whats in store for the next! P.S. I hope it doesn't rain as much around this time of year I ended up shooting this post in the rain and thats dedication right there haha!

All my love,

Cafe Latte - Carluiccio's  - £2.25
Cioccolata - Carluiccio's  - £2.25

Hey Beauts

Today I've got something a little different for you all! I got invited down to Carluccio's in Woking, Surrey to try out their breakfast menu. I can't believe that I live in Surrey and hadn't visited Woking a beautiful little town just past Guildford. Carluccio's was only a short walk from the shopping centre - which is huge by the way! Being a big breakfast fan and having never been to Carluccio's I was super excited to see what was on offer! Myself and my friend Jodie arrived at 10:30am and were very warmly welcomed and seated on a table near the outside seating area as it was a lovely sunny morning. The restaurant was gorgeous, and almost felt as if we were on holiday with the happy bustling vibe. Manager Matt then came over and introduced himself and can I just say he really did give us VIP service and was such a genuinely lovely person! After chatting about blogging, myself and Jodie went on to order a Carluccio's Breakfast Magnifica, Eggs Royale and a Latte.

The food arrived very quickly, smelt and looked amazing! My egg was super runny and the bacon was cooked just the way I like it, crisp and chewy. I also adored the sautéed mushrooms, they complimented the dish perfectly and went perfectly with the toasted Italian bread. Jodie's dish also looked amazing and she highly rated it also. The portion sizes were also just right, I hate having a breakfast that is too big or too small, but Carluccio's have truly nailed portion sizes!

After sipping on my Latte which was also very rich and foamy, I ordered a cloudy cherry juice and oh my if you're a cherry lover like me, you have to try this! It was so refreshing and fruity I wish I could buy more haha! After waiting 20 minutes and having a catch up with Jodie, we then decided to try a sweeter option for breakfast so we ordered the Crepes. In true Carluccio's style it arrived quickly looking and smelling fabulous! Myself and Jodie shared this dish and the first thing we both said was "Oh my gosh" yes it was that good. The pancakes were warm and thin and smothered with honey, yoghurt and berries which was truly a taste bud popping experience. After we'd finished our amazing breakfast we headed on over to the Carluccio's shop which was located at the front of the restaurant and looked at all of the yummy things they had on offer! Matt went above and beyond and even gave us goody bags from the shop which was literally so kind. I must say everything I sampled was just amazing and I will be 100% returning!

Have you tried Breakfast at Carluccio's? What is your favourite dish, let me know in the comments!
