Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy Nail Varnish

Revlon ColorStay Gel Envy  - Boots - £6.99 each
Colours left to right - 320, 620, 460, 410, 020

Hello Beauties

I've never really talked nails on my blog before, so today I thought I'd show you some fabulous little treasures from Revlon which I've recently been using and you've guessed it, loved! At work I'm not really allowed to wear brightly coloured nail varnish, so I usually just stick to a classic nude similar to 'All or Nothing' pictured above when I have my nails done about every 4 weeks. Just incase you were wondering I wear a natural set of acrylics and usually have a gel colour over the top as I find that they are super glossy for the whole period of time. However since finding these gems, I haven't had a gel colour on my nails since, as these are just as good! I'm forever changing up my tootsies and experimenting with different colours and matching my sandals to my polish colour. My sister kindly volunteered to be my hand model for the pictures so I really hope you enjoy the post!

Revlon has completely upped it nail game with this new collection as it holds all the cards, providing brilliant colour, gel-shine and long lasting wear all together in an easy 2-step system which you can apply at home. With 30 shades to choose from there is literally so much choice meaning that this polish is very life-compatible. The ColorStay Gel Envy combines a base coat and colour in one, which is super convenient when it comes to application as the process is super quick. I applied 2 coats of the nail varnish, which made the colour pop and almost seem gel like which made me super duper impressed with the finish. I used a clear nail varnish over the top to lock in the colour, however Revlon suggest using their Diamond Top Coat which provides a protective coating for long lasting strength (which I'm going to 100% have to get hold of). These nail varnishes have completely changed my nail game and at £6.99 whats more to love!

Which is your favourite colour from the range? Mine is 'Hold 'Em'
See you in the next post!

Thomas Sabo Jewellery Box - T H Baker

Thomas Sabo Jewellery Box  - T H Baker - £20

Hello Beauties

I hope you're all having a fabulous week and enjoying the sunny spells, I'll find any excuse to get my tan on haha! Today I'm talking jewellery storage, having recently re organised my bedroom I thought it would be a perfect chance to show you all where I keep my little treasures.

I don't actually own any Thomas Sabo jewellery myself, however I received this gorgeous little striped jewellery box from T H Baker & Etail PR, which I was super happy about as it was the perfect size to place onto my dressing table! The 'Charm Club' jewellery box is a two tier designed treasure chest, with lots of compartments, allowing maximum storage space. I love that fact it has a silky smooth interior as I know that my treasures will be 100% safe and protected against dust and any damage. It features a magnetic clasp and a handle on the top of the box, which allows you to shut the box easily and take it anywhere, so perfect for when you jet off this summer or even if you're heading off to somewhere special for the weekend.

I also absolutely am obsessed with the chic monochrome striped exterior, its got that classy feel and elegant touch. Another feature which I really like and unlike most jewellery boxes the 'Charm Club' jewellery box has a mirror inside which comes in super handy if you're in a hurry and need to quickly decide which piece of jewellery you're going to go for.

How do you store your jewellery? Let me know in the comments!

My Up In Lights Letters

Light Up Letters  - Up In Lights - £10.99 each

Happy Friday Beauties

As some of you may know, I absolutely love a little bit of interior design, I'm forever on Tumblr having a nose at some of the most gorgeous rooms, I guess its almost like a creating a wardrobe for your home haha! I'd been looking into getting a couple more furnishings for my bedroom and I came across an amazing company called Up In Lights on Twitter, who offer the most amazing light up statement letters and symbols. I thought the idea was amazing plus it looked super glam so I decided to go ahead and get my name up in lights! I've been super excited to share this post with you all, as I've had lots of compliments from an Instagram preview a couple of weeks ago, so I hope you enjoy the post.

The best part about Up In Lights is that you can literally spell out any name or phrase. You can also change up the letters, so I sometimes have my name out or I'll just mix it up a little and just have the 'B' out if I want something a little different. Alongside the letters you can get an '&' which I think is a perfect addition if you share your home with someone, you can get both of your initials for a unique statement piece. I'm super tempted to get one as luckily my boyfriends name begins with a 'C' and my name has two haha!

I have to say these letters are super eye-catching, have a classy matt white finish and are the perfect weight which means you can hang or stand them putting them pretty much anywhere you'd like. As you can see from the pictures above, I've had my beauties out on the dressing table and above a storage unit where they're currently sitting now. The quality is also fabulous, they add luxurious finish to any room and when switched on the white LED lights give a gorgeous glow adding a fabulous ambience to any room. They are intended for internal use, however Up In Lights gave me a fabulous summer idea to bring them outside for a BBQ to add that special touch (of course not if its raining haha!) The beauty of these is that there are no cables, each piece takes 2x AAA batteries and are easy to switch off to prolong battery life.

What would you get Up In Lights? Let me know in the comments!

Henrietta Sparkle Balconette Bra  - Boux Avenue - £30
Henrietta Sparkle Satin Thong  - Boux Avenue - £12

Hello Beauties

A few weeks back now I had the privilege of heading down to Boux Avenue in Kingston to have a sneak peek and try on some of their gorgeous new summer range, including their new festival bra - which I loved! I hadn't shopped at Boux Avenue before, but had seen so many beautiful pieces, so I couldn't resist getting my shop on haha! I had one of the best shopping experiences ever, and thats no exaggeration! The staff were super helpful and friendly, not forgetting Boux Avenues changing rooms where you could change the lighting to suit you, which I absolute loved! I firstly decided to go for a fitting with the lovely Nadia, who actually told me I'd been wearing the wrong size bra, and in fact instead of being what I thought I was a 34B/C, I was actually a 32B. I hadn't been measured in yonks so this was a massive wakeup call for me to get the right size fitting undies as wearing the wrong size can be uncomfy and potentially dangerous! Nadia then picked me out the right sizes and I was ready to commence mission try on. In the Boux Avenue changing rooms, there is also a concierge button which you can push after putting the bra on and your assistant will come to your changing room and check the bra fits you just right... amazing! Nadia also helped me decide which styles suited me best, which is also such a helping hand as its like having a personal BFF on call to help you out!

After trying on pretty much everything from Boux's new range, Nadia suggested that I go for one plunge bra and one balconette to add a bit of variety to my bra wardrobe. I fell in love with the 'Chloe' it gave me that instant cleavage that we're all after in a bra. The colour and lace detailing are also super gorgeous and perfect for summer and I can't even begin to tell you how comfy it is too! Nadia also let me in on a little secret, Boux Avenue also offer gel inserts which you can place into the bra to give you even more lift, so of course I had to try! I went for a cup size up and tried the inserts and honestly I felt like I'd just had an instant boob job haha! The next set I went for was the 'Henrietta' which is such a super pretty chic style. If you know me I absolutely love anything with a bit of sparkle so this was just perfect. Instead of a plunge style, this also enhanced my cleavage, something none of my previous balconette bras had done, so I was over the moon.  I don't know about you guys, but for me having gorgeous underwear unleashes a little inner confidence, so this set was just perfect.

Boux Avenue of course don't just offer underwear they have a fabulous swimwear range. I'd always wanted a high waisted bikini, but didn't know if I'd got the figure to pull one off, so I'd never bought one. However in Boux, I tried one on for the first time and fell totally head over heels for the 'South Pacific' bikini, and do you know what? I can't believe I hadn't bought one sooner! After trying I can honestly say high waisted bikinis will flatter almost any figure, however if you're not into that style Boux also offer the standard bikini brief which also has the gorgeous floral print.

I then headed to the pay point, where the staff wrapped my pieces and placed little scented petals into my pink gift box to keep my items smelling gorgeous adding that VIP experience to my shop. If you haven't shopped at Boux Avenue before or are worried about getting measured Boux Avenue will make you feel completely at ease and find something to suit you, making you feel fabulous!
