Holy Grail Hair - The NEW GHD Curve - Shop Rush

GHD Curve - Shop Rush - £110

 Hello Beauts

A couple of weeks ago I received a pre release of something so super special I honestly couldn't keep it all to myself. So today thanks to the lovely team at Rush Shop I'm excited to be sharing it with you, are you ready? Say hello to 'Good Hair Days' again for us girls who love our waves and curls, because hair favourites GHD are bringing out a series of long awaited shiny new wands and tongs, perfect for the upcoming party season, releasing in November. Did your mouth just drop? Because mine certainly did, let alone when the 'GHD Curve' arrived in my Blogger Mail. Before I even get into reviewing the 'Curve' I apologise in advance to all of your bank balances, as gosh will you guys want to get your hands on it haha!

As I opened the gorgeous packaging, I found a beautiful silky black, rose gold detailed heat resistant roll bag which opens into a mat, this means your GHD can travel in style with you. I love rose gold so this made me extremely happy! Rush Shop kindly sent me one of four new wands, the 'Curve' which features tri-zone technology for healthier looking curls that stay locked in all day and night. The wand is oval shaped and designed to create deep waves and glamorous moment on longer hair, which is perfect for me!

I wear Tantrum Micro Ring Hair Extensions and its important for me not to damage them using heat, however as the 'GHD Curve' uses tri-zone technology which guarantees the right curling temperature, I find that I only need to use the wand after I've washed my hair as the waves stay in place. Therefore meaning i'm not using as much heat on my hair as I usually would, respecting the health of my hair.

When turning the iron on, a circle around power button will flash and a magic wand noise will sound, which I absolutely love. It makes me feel slightly more glam in the mornings! It heats up in no time at all, another wand like sound will happen and the light will now glow meaning its ready to use. I then take a section of my hair and wrap it around the 'Curve' facing outwards, pointing the wand downwards with my heat protective glove. I keep the hair wrapped around the iron for no more than 4 seconds and then let the curl cool in my hand before letting it bounce down, this helps staying power. Instead of using hairspray I prep my hair with the 'GHD Curl Hold Spray' which adds extra shine and hold. Also if you're in a rush and you forget to turn off your GHD, don't panic and there is an automatic sleep mode after 30 minutes...phew!

So there you have it, perfect hair thanks to the new GHD Curve, I hope you enjoyed the post and I look forward to seeing what you guys think!

Lots of Love

My Holiday Look Book: Outfit #1

Hey lovelys, as you may know I've just got back from my holiday in Portugal, it was amazing! I've decided to put a look book together for a few of my favourite outfits. I'm making these posts a little shorter than usual to give you some short and snappy style inspiration. Of course if you're not jetting off to anywhere sunny, feel free to have a sneak peek into my holiday wardrobe!

This gorgeous swimsuit from celebrity favourite Rare London was kindly gifted to me and is honestly the most perfect holiday piece. I wore it lounging around the pool, but you could also easily look bang on trend at beach parties rocking this number. This swimsuit is also great if you're not ready to flaunt your bikini bod as the cut out effect gives you more confidence and style. I paired it up with a black lace kimono and gold jewellery creating poolside glamour.

See you in the next outfit!

Eyelash Extensions By Lash Magnifique

Eyelash Extensions: Lash Magnifique  - Top Set Classic Mink Natural  - £65

Welcome back lovelys

This week we're talking about my new obsession and recent find, Eyelash Extensions by the gorgeous Stacey at Lash Magnifique. As some of you may know I attended Bloggers Love Fashion Week a fortnight ago alongside some of my blogging babes where I got chatting to Stacey about her lash extensions. I'd always been cautious about extensions after I had cluster lashes a few years back for prom and came out looking like a crazy version of Katie Price (not a good look haha!) Stacey, on the other hand showed me her work and said that she worked with mink individual lashes which are far more natural and build-able for a more glamorous look. You guys know how much I love trying new things so when Stacey chatted with me about how perfect they'd be for my upcoming holiday and offered to do my lashes, I couldn't resist!

After booking in with Lash Magnifique, myself and my friend Amy headed down to St John's Wood to get our lash makeover. We arrived with fresh faces where Stacey greeted us and showed us to her gorgeous hot pink lash room. Some of you girls have probably never had eyelash extensions before and therefore don't know what to expect. Well at Lash Magnifique, once Stacey places her cooling pads underneath your eyes and combs your lashes into place, you shut your eyes and become completed relaxed, its amazing! She then starts applying the individual mink lashes which you can't even feel. Stacey told me some of her clients actually fall asleep whilst having a lash makeover as they are so chilled out. After a couple of hours you open your eyes and wow you have such beautiful lashes, I was blown away at the finished result when I looked in the mirror!

For anyone looking into getting lash extensions, I would highly recommend Stacey at Lash Magnifique as she honestly does the best lashes I've ever seen. She takes each clients eye shape and lifestyle into perspective to give you the perfect look meaning that you'll always be happy and probably become addicted to perfect lashes (like me haha). Having extensions means no more mascara for me, therefore when I was on holiday I could literally wake up and head straight to the pool looking glam in less than no time at all. The lashes last up to 3 weeks before you need a refill, and also try not to use makeup wipes around your eyes as they contain oil and can lift the glue, instead use baby shampoo and cotton buds to remove excess makeup.

I can't wait for my refill in the coming week as I'm celebrating my 20th Birthday! I hope you guys enjoyed the post!

Much love,
